We have measured the reltttivc cicvatiuus at the above referenced address. During the iuvcsti)catiurr,
we measured elevations at the lot sides aril wurcrs, top of foundation, and the dr'ainakc swalc Uri
the west side of the subject lot.
Our mprescutati've noted that the residence to the west of the subject lot (Lot 22, Dlock 2) was
a,mplete with landscaping in place at the time of our investigation. Based on our observations and
the information available to this office, the slopes and elevations as measured arc in substantial
conformance with the FlIA grading plan completed by Northern Engineering Services, Job No.
9435.00, dated Februuy 20, 1995.
Furthermore, it is our opinion that the subject lot, as graded, should not interfere with offsitc flows.
nor cause runoff to flow into another residence unless the grades are changed or barriers are created
such as; fences, garden terracing, sidewalks and/or any landscaping which may change the
established flow patterns by diverting or slowing runoff flow. Backfill adjacent to the residence may
settle over time and allow ponding to occur around the foundation walls. The backfill adjacent to
the residence must be monitored and maintained by the homeowner to ensure that runoff will flow
away from the foundation.
