Dear Tay and Lisa,
This letter serves as final certification for the above reference address according to the requirements of
the Stormwater Utility in the Stormwater Building Permit Notice for this address dated 0312012000.
This certification include the items noted on the Stormwater Building Permit Notice and are as follows:
• Grading certification
• Swale certification
• Finished floor elevation certification
• Lot corner elevation certification
• Lowest building opening elevation
certification
Final grading is substantially complete, functions properly and meets the intent of the original
subdivision grading and drainage design according to the Final Utility Plans for Fossil Lake P.U.D.,
First Filing by Northern Engineering Services, Inc; Northern Project No: 9812.00 FLF; Director of
Engineering approval date 05/19/99. We have recommended to the owner, Chris Smith, via a phone
conversation today and this letter that the three (3) window wells in the northwest comer of the building
be raised by at least one timber (4" x 4") and the finished grade at these locations be brought up a
similar amount to increase the slope away from the house in this area. He agreed and indicated that he
was intending to do this. King Surveying provided elevation shots. Elevations based on the same datum
utilized with the Fossil Lake P.U.D., First Filing.
Attached is a copy of the site plan indicating the record field shots obtained for the lot. A copy of the
portion of the Grading, Drainage and Erosion Control Plan from the subdivision utility plans, of which
this lot is a part, is attached for reference only. If you have any questions, Please call at (970) 221-4158

and drainage patterns as measured are in substantial conformance with the approved
drainage and final grading plan for the referenced subdivision. The grading has been
construction as to facilitate the intent of the approved Drainage Plan for the
subdivision.
❑ The lot grading does not conform to the approved grading plan. The attached revised
grading plan reflects the existing grading at this site and should be functionally
adequate for this lot and the overall subdivision drainage plan.
