above referenced property in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and verify that construction of all
stormwater facilities and grading there is complete, and that the elevations and drainage patterns shown
on the attached drawing(s) which were developed from a survey performed on August 15, 2006,
accurately and truly depict the elevations and drainage patterns as they existed on the date of the
survey. Based on this information, I certify that (check one):

approved drainage and grading plan or revised grading plan for the property (information
attached). SEE NOTE.
The elevations and drainage patterns of the lot as measured are in general conformance with the
City approved drainage plan or revised grading plan with exceptions (information attached). In
my professional judgment the elevations and grading of the lot as constructed is functionally

Dear Mr. Barber,
This letter is provided as an attachment to the City of Fort Collins standard "Certification of Lot
Grading" form for Lot 9, Block 12, Fossil Lake P.U.D. First Filing according to the requirement
of that form for exceptions to the second statement.
The final grading on the south side of Lot 9, Block 12 has been modified from the approved
grading plan provided at the time of building permit. Final grading has been modified due to the
installation of two retaining walls located at the north and south ends of the west wall. These
retaining walls continue out for approximately fifty-five feet (55') to the west, which extends the
walkout condition in this direction. Thus the swale along the south side had to be extended
further south than originally shown.
The grading for the south side of Lot 9, Block 12 has been modified to the actual finished grades
noted by the field shots highlighted on the grading plan attached with this certification. The
modified finished grades continue to meet the intent of the subdivision -grading plan and the
intent of the final grading plan, for Lot 9, Block 12, Fossil Lake P.U.D. First Filing.
