RE: Storm Drainage Certification for East Vine Streets Facility
Dear Glen:
The construction is nearly complete for the Streets Facility, and a
ground survey has been conducted to verify that the project conforms
to the approved construction drawings. -Attached to this letter are
the plan sheets of interest, with survey information noted on the
drawings.
By comparing the design elevations with the ground survey data, it can
be seen that the completed project matches the intent of the drainage
design. One minor item which still needs to be addressed is the
grading and outlet pipe invert for Water Quality Pond A. On the
drawings, the field notes show that the outlet pipe invert is higher
than the inlet pipe draining into Pond A. I have been informed by
Jack Gianola that the City crews intend to set the outlet pipe lower
and perform some re -grading work. They are aware that the pond will
not drain properly unless this work is done.
No pond volumes were calculated because the ground survey gives
sufficient indication that the volumes are adequate. In addition,
Pond B was designed with excess capacity.
As stated previously, the completed project matches the. intent of the
drainage design.
