RE: Drainage Certification - Lot 10, Eagle Cliffs Subdivision

Mr. Barber,
This letter and attached information is provided to certify that the grading and drainage
improvements on Lot 10, Eagle Cliffs Subdivision have been constructed in substantial
conformance with the plans approved March 2003. All elevation information (shown on
the attached sketch) is based on survey completed by Northern Engineering Services on
July 18, 2005. North Star Design staff made a site visit on July 21, 2005.
The building elevation, private drives, parking areas, and grading immediately adjacent to
the building are in substantial conformance with the approved plans. There were
modifications made to the locations and elevations of the sidewalks, but these
modifications did not change the drainage scheme for the lot.
The rundown into the detention pond from the parking lot has been constructed. The
contractor stated that the required riprap was installed per plan, but it has been buried and
was,not visible during the site visit. There is some erosion of the soil over the riprap, and
it has'been suggested to the contractor that some erosion fabric may be needed to help
vegetation get established on the rundown. The only change to the detention pond was
the adjustment of the spillway to meet the minimum spill elevation specified on the
approved plans. The pond will require continuing maintenance and cleaning of sediment
until the entire site (including the single family lots) has established vegetation, paving
and building construction.
