On behalf of our client, Drahota Construction Company, we would like to submit to you a lot
grading certification letter for Lot 2, Block 4 of the Eagle Cliffs project. This `B' lot was
constructed with a one-story, rock & frame, single-family residence with a basement. Northern
Engineering has reviewed the as -constructed elevations provided by a field survey crew.
The residence on Lot 2 was constructed with a finish floor elevation of 4917.94. The minimum
opening elevation (MOE) of 4917.30 occurs at the rear window well. While the Engineer does
not have knowledge of the constructed difference between finished floor and top of foundation,
the actual top of foundation appears to be below the approved elevation. However, the 100-year
water surface elevation (with freeboard included) of the grass lined swale located to the northeast
of Lot 2 is expected to be approximately 4914.77. Lot 2's constructed finish floor elevation of
4917.94 provides more than the required freeboard of one (1) foot above the 100-year water
surface.
Attached for your convenience are copies of the approved design elevations and a sketch
showing the as -constructed elevations (handwritten) for Lot 2. The surrounding lot grades are in
close compliance with the approved grading plan. Sufficient fall exists away from the building
to provide proper drainage. The high points on the side lot lines make the lot function as a `B'
lot per plan. Lot 2 is not adjacent to any major drainage elements. Runoff from the front of this
lot is directed towards Nightingale Drive, and runoff from the rear of the lot flows towards a
grass -lined Swale northeast of Lot 2, Block 4. No limits of 100-year ponding encroach onto, or
near, this lot.

ENGINEER'S STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE:
This certification is signed and stamped by a professional engineer registered in the State of
Colorado. By signing this certification the engineer attests that to the best of his knowledge the
surveyed grading as shown in the enclosed certification is in compliance with the approved grading
plan for this lot and subdivision as shown on the approved final utility plans.
