Collins, Colorado Dear Ms. Hayes, In accordance with Item D of Section VII of the City of Fort Collins Development Manual, Shear Engineering Corporation has completed post construction field data gathering and has prepared a 'Record Drawing" for the above referenced project. 3 prints of the record drawing are attached for your review and files. Comparison of the record drawing to the original design plans indicate that grading and drainage facilities have been completed in full accordance with the design plans and meet the intent of the drainage design for the site. Dear Susan, This letter serves to meet the estimate of erosion protection cost requirement according to the City of Fort Collins Erosion Control Reference Manual for determining the security amount (performance bond, irrevocable letter of credit or cash escrow) which the owner shall be required to submit. The cost to provide the erosion control bales as shown on the Grading', Drainage and Erosion control plan for the project will be approximately $450.00: $150.00 for materials ($1.00 per LF) $300.00 for labor ($2.00 per LF) $450.00 Total ($3.00 per LF) For security estimate, 1.5 times the $450.00 is $675.00. This is less than the $1000.00 minimum security deposit required by City Policy. The estimated cost to provide seeding for rehabilitation of the site should erosion control measures not be implemented would be as follows: 12,500 square feet of disturbed area $0.0116 per square foot $145.00 Total to seed the site For security estimate, 1.5 times the $145.00 is E217.50.
