RE: Engineer's Storm -Drainage Certification of South NCesa-Veterinary'Hospital'`
Mr. Schlueter:
We are writing this certification letter regarding completion of the drainage improvements for
the South Mesa Veterinary Hospital. Proposed improvements for the Site included a building
addition, additional parking, and drainage provisions along the western and southern portions
of the property.
While final grading, landscaping and installation of some astro-turf have not been completed
in these areas, all of the storm drainage improvements have been installed. These include a
one -foot concrete pan along the western boundary, and the pipe leading from that pan to the
existing detention pond. The existing pond was constructed to include the required volume
for this building addition, so no additional volume was needed.
We have made periodic visits to the site during the construction process and verged that the
improvements being installed or constructed provide appropriate drainage of onsite runoff to
the detention pond according to the approved modifications to the set of construction
documents. We have also verified that the public improvements are in compliance with the
standards and specifications of the City of Fort Collins.
