Re: Drainage Certification for Building C, Lot 6A, Collindale Business Park Third Filing
Dear Jay,
We recently surveyed Building C, Lot 6A, Collindale Business Park Third Filing to verify whether
the grading met the intent of the approved grading and drainage plan. Spot elevations were
checked at pertinent locations and compared to the grading. plan. The enclosed drawing shows
these as -built elevations.
In general, the lot and building meet the requirements of the grading and drainage plan and
there is positive drainage away from the building on all sides. Survey points were taken
pertinent locations to verify the slope away from the building. The finished floor elevation id
4959.75, which is 0.05 feet higher than the design elevation. The west side of the building
slopes to the northwest; the north side of the building slopes to the northeast; the east side of
the building slopes to the southeast; and the south side of the building slopes to the southeast.
It is my recommendation that the Certificate of Occupancy for this property be released since
the Contractor graded the lot to meet design drainage patterns. If you have any questions,
