Lot 3 Collindale Business Park Second Filing
We have inspected the construction of the storm drainage facilities and surveyed the
elevations of the curb flow lines and drainage structures.
The storm drainage outlet box with overflow spillway and water quality facilities is
constructed in accordance with the approved plan. The release from the outlet box is through three
3 inch diameter openings instead of the planned one 7 inch diameter opening. According to the
contractor, that was approved during construction by a City engineering Inspector. The three smaller
openings will release a smaller amount then the one larger opening, but that will cause no adverse
effects on the downstream drainage system, and will activate the Hawthorne detention pond during
smaller storms.
The curbs, parking lot and berm around the ponding site are all constructed in substantial
compliance to the elevations shown on the approved plan.
A print of the grading plan with the "AS BUILT' elevations shown in red is attached.
This project, which was constructed by Dohn Construction, is completed and ready for the
release of the C.O.
