referenced property in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, has been inspected by me or someone under
my direct supervision, and verify construction of all stormwater facilities and grading is complete, and
the elevations and drainage patterns shown on the attached drawing(s) which were developed from a
survey performed on (Date) August 1, 2006 , accurately and truly depict the elevations and drainage
patterns as they existed on the date of the survey. Based on this information, I certify that (check one):
❑ The elevations and drainage patterns of the lot/site are in substantial conformance with the City
approved drainage and grading plan for the property (information attached). SEE NOTE.
The elevations and drainage patterns of the lot/site as measured are in general conformance
with the City approved drainage plan with exceptions (information attached). In my professional
judgment the elevations and grading of the lot as constructed is functionally adequate and will
allow for sto rainage consistent with the approved drainage plan.

To Whom It May Concern:
The grading along the north lot line of this house is approximately 1% from the front of
the lot to the rear. This drainage is different from the original plan because the highpoint
along the side lot line was removed. Since the adjacent house is complete and a window
well exists near the proposed highpoint, the enforcement of that highpoint would result in
a drainage condition where the water is directed toward the window well. Therefore, we
agreed with the decision to drain toward the rear of the lot and have thus approved the
grading for this lot.
