Re: Drainage Certification for.Buffalo Run
Dear Mr. Hamdan:
This is the drainage certification for Buffalo Run. This drainage certification generally
covers the ponds, swales, stormdrain pipes, inlets, cross -pans, culverts; curb cuts and the
grading of the site. The attached drawings will serve as the record documentation. of
existing elevations and information surveyed.
Sear -Brown's survey crew visited the site most recently on September 30, 1999 and
confirmed the elevations redlined on the attached drawing. Overall, the elevations
observed were near or at the design elevations and within the construction tolerances.
At the time of this certification, the site is in compliance with the construction plans with
the following exceptions:
1. The erosion control fabric, North American Green C350, has been changed to be
sod.
2. The Out fall Swale to Highway 14 has been daylighted.to the field short of the
culvert under Highway 14. This is due to the farmer of the field plowing up the
field.
3. The Outfall pipe is slightly flatter than designed. This should not have a
significant effect, as there is only a small outflow from the pipe.
4. The equalizing pipe is slightly flatter than designed. This should not have a
significant effect of the capacity as it is hydraulically controlled and not grade
controlled.
The existing culverts that run under Highway 14 have been cleared of accumulated silt
and debris.
