RE: Drainage Certification of University Court.Development.�,� SU
Dear Sirs:
On August 7, 2000, we observed the site located on University Avenue between City Park
Avenue and South Shields Street. With the exception. of the north -south walkway located in the
center of the complex, and a few area drains that need fill placed around them, the site had been
final graded. The central walkway was being formed for the concrete.
In addition to my observation, RJL Surveys obtained spot elevations at numerous spots
throughout the site. Please refer to the attached elevation sheet.
Base on our observation and the attached surveyed information, and assuming that the area fill
will. be placed around the area drains, the site appeared to drain away from -the buildings and
toward either University Avenue or the complex's parking lot. The new parking lot drains to the
northeast corner and onto University Avenue. However, there were a few minor spots, adjacent
to the building, which we could not tell if there were sufficient slope away from the building.
Our recommendations were based on our observation on the dated noted above.
