Esc Qom - n vucwt Q9 (Sg iJ ISM As required by the hold placed on the certification of occupancy, we surveyed the elevations of the rear lot comers. The northwest comer is 4967.1, the northeast corner is 4963.5 and the middle lot comer is 4965.9. Each of these elevations are within 0.3 foot of the planned elevation. The first floor elevation of the house is 4968.4, which is 1.1 feet higher than planned. The swale on the west side of the lot has been completed and should be adequate for conveying drainage water to the street. The eastem swale between lots 159 and 158 is not complete for two reasons: (1) the soils are frozen and cannot be moved without large earthwork equipment, and (2) the eastem half of the swale was not built on the adjacent property. Another complicating factor is the difference between the first floor elevations of the house which is approximately 4 feet. The fine grading which is necessary for this swale cannot be completed until the ground thaws. We suggest releasing the hold from the lot with an agreement by Mr. McCaliff and the future homeowner that Mr. McCaliff will come back and construct the swale when the soil thaws.
