Dear Basil:
As required by the hold placed on the certification, of occupancy, we surveyed the
elevations of the rear lot corners. The northeast corner is 65.0 feet and the northwest is
63.5 feet. The northeast corner is 0.9 feet higher and the northwest corner is 0.5 feet
higher than the planned elevations. However, these elevations match the surrounding
ground level and should not cause any drainage problems. The first floor elevation of the
house is 66.4 feet, which is 1.9 feet higher than the planned elevation.
The swales on the sides of the house are complete and adequate for conveying drainage to
the street.. Enclosed.are pictures of the swales.
It is our recommendation to release the hold -planned on this lot for the certification of
occupancy since the Contractor did a good job to adequately grade the lot to drain. If you
have any questions, please call.
