Dear Basil,
As required by the hold placed on the certification of occupancy (CO), we surveyed the swale
along the east side of Lot 147 this morning to ensure that the swale has 5H:1V sideslopes and
at least one foot of depth. We surveyed the flowline elevation and elevations 5 feet on either
side of the flowline at the most constricted location along the swale (at the northeast corner of
the patio on Lot 147). The swale is nearly perfect; on the west side (Lot 147), the sideslope is
indeed 5H:1V while on the east side, the sideslope is 5.56HAV. I. have included a picture of the
swale for your review.
It is our recommendation to release the hold on the CO for Lot 147 since the swale has been
constructed such that it meets the design configuration. If you have any questions, please call
me.
