ST SRC vED F 3& 2 g 2004 July 28, 2004 Mr. Jay Barber Stormwater Utilities .. City of Fort Collins 700 Wood Street Fort Collins, Colorado 80521 RE: Rigden Farms Second Filing Grading Certification for Lot 11 Dear Mr. Barber, This letter is in regards to 2545 Des Moines Drive, which is Lot 11 at Rigden Farms Second Filing, and in particular,to provide the City with a Grading certification for this particular building. The basis for our evaluation is the survey information provided by RJL Surveys, dated July 27, 2004, and a site investigation July 28, 2004 by Northern Engineering Services, Inc. I have attached a copy of the elevations provided by RJL Surveys, as well as the approved grading plan. The approved construction plans called for a finished floor elevation of 4925.50 and top of foundation elevation of 4924.50; the actual finished floor elevation and top of foundation elevation are 4926.91 and 4925.91,respectively, approximately 1.4' higher than the approved plan. There are two spot elevations on the north side of the building that are 0.3' to 0.4' below proposed grade, all other spots elevations are less than 0.1' difference from the approved grading plan. There does appear to be sufficient grade away from the buildings to encourage positive drainage, the lot grading does essentially comply with the approved grading plan. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this certification. ly, \\\oIlulliirrNN/ 0 i REGSTi11, hIDEN CG99ii Roger A Curtiss, P.E. _ 27362 2 Project Engineer oijp►ON Al. \ l/lllllltl111 cc: Carl Glaser 420 SOUTH HOWES, SUITE 202 / FORT COLLINS, COLORADO 80521 / 970.221.4158 / FAX 970.221.4159 07/27/2004 15: 00 9762269027 RJL SURVEYS PAGE 02 I Ctp z I n 7 .0 O D • o C D a co co (J 0 z O Cf) o C n n 3n13038 1 URA RECEQED jut- 2 8 2004 !c 00. 00 O\ 2.5% LU — Z 2. % c'c' 10.4 0% Ooo LoLnoa Ll .._.__ ......_..-.__.__ D.
