Dear Glen:
This letter is to certify that the storm drainage facilities adjacent to Lot 8 have been constructed in accordance
with the construction plans; and that the construction of the building on Lot 8 has not impacted said storm
drainage facilities. The adjacent facilities were certified per the drainage certification submitted to Basil Hamden
dated October 9, 1997. The above mentioned drainage certification reported that the facilities were constructed in
accordance with the utility plans and should function as designed.
On November 20, 1997, TST surveyed lot 8 and established that the building and finished grading around said
building does not impact the adjacent storm drainage facilities. It is noted that the rear lot corners are
approximately one foot lower than shown on the utility plans. Although the rear lot corners are a foot lower,the
drainage from the back lot line east to the drainage swale has at least a 2 percent grade. Also, the open area
behind lot 8 has been fenced and landscaped.
Due to the grade being within the acceptable limits for drainage,and the fact that the landscaping is already done,
it is the opinion of this office that lot 8 and the open area behind the lot will drain in accordance with grading
plan. It is further noted that the lower lot corner elevations should not impact the drainage for this basin. See
attached exhibit for elevations surveyed by this office.
