Pleas e answe r the following questions by initialing the appropriate response. For eac h question initialed "No," attach an explanation detailing how this will affect stormwater drainage for this lot and any adjacent lots. 1. Certification includes attached Stormwater-approved grading plan. (NOTE : City's Building Department does not approve grading plans). N o 2. Certification includes the attached as-built survey dated -fy t*f/l ?-(must be within 60 No day s of the date the certification is submitted) accurately and truthfully depicting elevations for: • Top of foundation/finished floor • Finished grade on each side of the structure • Quarter points along each lot line (not more than 50 feet apart)' • Brea k points/high points • Swales*"" RetBimni • Air conditioning • Windo w well s • Any other appurtenance(s) within an easement 3. All elevations are within a 0.2 foot tolerance of the approved grading plan. 4. The top of foundation is at least 6 inches above the highest grade surrounding the structure. 5. There is a minimum grade of 5% awa y from the structure within the first 5 to 10 feet adjacent to the residence. 6. All slopes meet or excee d the minimum requirement of 2% (1% is acceptable on single family lots when the swale is draining the runoff from only two adjoining properties) and are not steeper than 25% (4:1). 7. All flow lines of stormwater drainage swale s are a minimum of 6 inche s below the elevation of ground adjacent to the structure and will direct drainage a s shown on the Stormwater-approved grading plan. ». All downspout locations and discharge directions are shown on the as-built survey. Runoff is directed into an appropriate drainage system or lot line swale, and it is not directed onto neighboring properties. 5/26/16 /4<?>q — 24-0 I Page I 9. During our observations our representative measured the relative elevations at the lot sides and comers, top of foundation , and lowest openings. The observed elevations were compared to the Site Plan and/or Grading Plan referenced above. Based upon our finding s it is our opinion that: a The elevations as measured are in general conformance wit h the above noted Site Plan and/or Grading Plan. D The elevations as measured are in general conformance with the above noted She Plan and/or Grading Plan with the following exceptions: It is our opinion these exceptions, as noted above, should not adversely change the grading scheme as shown on the above referenced plan. S C During our observations our representative noted that the as measured elevations do not confor m to those indicated on die above referenced Site Plan and/or Grading Plan. However, it is our opinion die grades as measured should provide an adequate substitute to the above referenced grading scheme (see comments below). To prevent this ponding and related problems, die backfill adjacent to die residence must be monitored and maintained to ensure that runof f will flow awa y fro m die foundation.
