To Whom It May Concern:
The elevations and drainage patterns shown on the attached As-Built Elevations for a Drainage
Certification at 768 Harts Garden Lane by Northern Engineering (12/06/19) are in general
conformance with the City-approved Grading Plan by Northern Engineering (11/26/13) with the
following exceptions.
Item #3 in the attached Certification of Lot Grading was initialed “No” because all as-built
elevations are not within 0.2 ft tolerance of the approved plot plan. The northern property lines
were developed with elevations between 0.4 ft and 2.0 ft higher than the approved plan due to the
necessary protection of existing trees.

Other items of note which are outside of the 0.2 ft tolerance limits include the following:
· Landscape retaining walls were constructed to eliminate the steeper slope designed for
the backyard.
· The high point along the eastern lot line was moved closer to the north, allowing for the
area adjacent to the garage to drain towards Harts Garden Lane.
Despite the aforementioned elevations being outside of the 0.2 ft elevations tolerance, it is in my
professional judgement the elevations and drainage patterns are functionally adequate and
equivalent to the City-approved drainage plan.
