Dear Mr. Lamarque,
The purpose of this letter is to provide the grading certification for building 14 within, Lakeview On The Rise
Subdivision, located in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Aspen Engineering reviewed the record survey, prepared by King Surveyors, Inc., with survey measurements
dated November 09, 2020. Aspen also visited the project site on November 30, 2020 and December 9, 2020 to
visually observe grading adjacent to building 14. Based on the provided record survey and visual observation,
Aspen Engineering asserts that the as-built grading appears to meet the intent of the approved grading and
drainage plans.
Aspen is providing the following as the assessment of the drainage adjacent to building 14.
Building 14
1) Grading along the east of the building slopes approximately 20% to the east. Along the south
side of the building slopes vary from 4.3% to 14% away from the building. At the west side of
the building slopes vary from 9% to 34%. The north side of the building slopes north toward a
swale at slopes varying from 4% to 8%. The swale between the walk and the north side of the
building, drains from west to east at slopes varying from 1.9% to 5.3%. The swale along the west
side of the building drains from north to south at 2% then 18% near the south end.
2) The patios at the south side of the building extend approximately 4 feet further out from the
position shown on plans. The limits are marked on the redlined plan. The south slopes are
