Aspen Engineering reviewed the record survey, prepared by King Surveyors, with the record survey dated June 7, 2017. Aspen also visited the project site on June 7, 2017 and June 8, 2017 to visually observe grading adjacent to Building 5, within Tract A. Based on the provided record survey and visual observation, Aspen Engineering asserts that the asbuilt grading appears to meet the intent of the approved grading and drainage plans. Aspen is providing the following as the assessment of the drainage adjacent to Building 5 within Tract A: 1)Grades along the north, south, east, and west sides of the building vary from approximately 0.5% to 3.8%. Along the north side the building a 2 foot wide concrete pan was constructed to drain runoff from east to west. Flow passes through a 2 foot metal sidewalk culvert at the building access sidewalk then flows west to a 2 foot curb cut with metal culvert discharging to the flowline in Red Willow Drive. Grades within the pan vary from 0.5% to 1.4%. A high point near the northeast corner splits flow east and west. 2)A 2 foot concrete pan was also constructed along the east side of the building and drains runoff south to the 2 curb cut with metal sidewalk culvert discharging to the flowline in Willine Way. The pan slopes vary from 0.4% to 2.2%. 3)A 2 foot concrete pan was also constructed along the south and east side of the building within the inside corner of the building. Runoff between the sidewalk and building is conveyed to the drainage pan, flows west then south passing through a 2 foot metal sidewalk culvert at the inside corner of the building. Flow continues south through a 2 foot curb cut and metal sidewalk culvert Accepted 6/23/2017 WL G G G G G E E F RDRD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RDRDRD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD RD =ROOF DRAIN NOTE: THIS DRAWING HAS BEEN MODIFIED BY ASPEN ENGINEERING FOR THE PURPOSES OF A GRADING CERTIFICATION LEGEND G G G G G E E F 4.3% = GRADE PER ENGINEER FIELD OBSERVATION 2.2% 0. 7 % 1. 2 % 0. 5 % 1. 0 % 0. 5 % 0. 4 % 1.0 % 0.6% 1.0 % 0. 5 % 1.4% 0.7% 0.5% 0. 8 % 0. 6 % 0.6% 0.6% 0.5%0.8%0.6% 0.7% 11.1% 12.5% 12.1% 17.4% 18.9% 4.3% = GRADE PER SURVEYED ELEVATIONS NOTE: THIS DRAWING HAS BEEN MODIFIED BY ASPEN ENGINEERING FOR THE PURPOSES OF A GRADING CERTIFICATION LEGEND 0.9% 15 % 5.1% 7.9% 3.8%2.0% 15 % 5.0% 14% 23% 6. 8 % 14% 1.0% 22 % 2. 8 % 1.4% FLAT 2. 1 % 3. 8 % 3. 0 % 2. 4 % 1. 4 % 2. 5 % 1. 5 % 26% 2. 1 % 2. 0 % 2. 0 % 26 % 10 % 12 % 10 % 5.6% 1. 6 % 1. 8 % 2. 1 % 1. 4 % 2.9% 12 % 14 % 9. 8 % 24 % 26 % 9.4% 12% 19 % 15 % 29% 21% 26% 6. 1 % PLAN TOF = 53.00 AB FF = 52.80
