Meldrum Fort Co lli ns, Colorado 80521 970/482-5922 Mr. Basil Hamdan City of Fort Collins Stormwater Utility 235 Matthews Fort Collins, CO 80522 Re : Partial Site Certification Wild Wood Farm, Third Filing PUD, Phase I Dear Mr. Hamdan, July 25, 1996 This is a partial certification of the Wild Wood Farm, Third Filing PUD, primarily to certify what drainage facilities exist at this time for Phase I. We have surveyed portions of the site and have recorded the results on the enclosed redlined drawings . On July 19, 1996 a survey crew from RBD visited the above referenced site and surveyed the detention pond grading and measured elevations as red lined on the enclosed blueline drawings of . the site . Please note that the field information is not included as it was recorded electronically on disk. The topographic survey of the detention pond shows that there is sufficient volume for both Phase 1 and 2 . This volume may need to recertified if major grading changes occur when final grading is completed for Phase 2. As this is a water quality pond, it is recommended that seeding with accompanying irrigation system be completed as soon as possible to reduce siltation at a later date . This will reduce the clogging of the perforated riser pipe and gravel surround at the detention pond outlet structure. It should be noted that although the orifice detail on sheet 18 of the construction plans shows a diameter of O. 6 feet the Final Drainage Report shows O. 7 6 feet which is consistent with the measured diameter of O. 80 feet. The following items were not installed at the time of the survey: 1. Line A on sheet 15 of 18 2 . Line Bon sheet 15 of 18 Denver 303/45 8-5526 3. The Detention Pond concrete overflow weir outlet structure as shown on sheet 18 of 18. 4. Asphalt surfacing of road . This certification does not address landscaping issues or sediment from construction in the storm sewers. In general all measured elevations show that construction to date has been done within accepted tolerances. One concern is that there is no clear drainage way from the end of Indigo Circle South, Phase I, to the constructed detention pond. This certification is signed and stamped and by signing this letter I attest that to the best of my knowledge the as -built conditions of the site are as shown on the attached redlined photocopy . Failure to properly disclose all known information could result in the rejection of this certification and prevent the release of any stormwater Utility holds on the Building Permit or Certificates of Occupancy.
