Dear Basil,
Ayres Associates has examined the site grading for the above -referenced building site and
have determined that there is positive drainage away from the building on all sides. A swale
running parallel to the building near the southeast property line will provide relief for stormwater
in the vicinity of the stairwell providing access to the lower level of the building (provided the
storm drain pipe draining the site, which we are not certifying, does not become plugged).
We note that there is a low area adjacent to the northeast comer of the building that is drained
by a 6-inch pipe. If the pipe becomes plugged, some ponding will result, though it probably will
not attain a level sufficient to inundate the first floor.
