Box580 Fort Collins, Co 80522-0580 Re: Linden Park Phase 1 and 2 Stormwater Certification Project No. 0956-000 Dear Mr. Barber: February 1, 2002 Please find enclosed a partial Stormwater Drainage Certification for Phases 1 and 2 of the Linden Park Subdivision for the as-built condition as of January 25, 2002. TST, Inc. surveyed the above drainage facilities on October 24, 2001, January 7, 2002 and January 25, 2002, as the contractor installed them . Included are redlined prints of the storm sewer system showing the as-built condition. Per our conversation on January 30, 2002 , we are submitting a partial certification . The following items have not been installed per the approved plans: 1. The storm pipe from the outlet structure of Detention Pond A to Storm Manhole #7 slopes opposite the direction of the approved plans and causes runoff to pond 0.06' before spilling into the rest of Storm Line ST-1. 2. Storm Manhole #7 does not reach the required elevation at the rim. The specified grate was not installed per the approved plans and does not create the emergency overflow protection that the City wanted. TST has made Centex Homes and the City of Fort Collins Stormwater Department aware of the problem. Centex Homes has agreed, verbally, to have this situation corrected by the end of February. It is my direction from Centex Homes to submit this partial certification, and then update it once the aforementioned items have been addressed . The outlet structure, Storm Manhole #7 and all associated structures within Detention Pond A will be subject to re­ certification. TST, Inc. surveyed the following drainage facilities on March 4, 2002 . Included are redlined prints of the storm sewer system showing the updated as­ built condition. The following items have now been installed per the approved plans: 1. The storm pipe from the outlet structure of Detention Pond A to Storm Manhole #7 now slopes correctly per the direction of the approved plans. 2 . Storm Manhole #7 has a rim elevation of 4935.31. The specified grate is now installed per the approved plans and will create the emergency overflow protection that the City wanted. This certification does not include the irrigation conveyance through the site . A new design for the irrigation siphon on the west side of the site, and the irrigation tie-in to the east has been completed.
