RE: 1713 sq. ft. building addition at 300 willow for fnterstate Battery
Basil,
As per our earlier discussion, this letter is to confirm the site conditions at
300 Willow, as it relates to a building addition.
The existing property includes lots A,B,C, & D. See attached ILC.
There was an existing 1300 sq. ft. house on lot D. It was demolished in 2001
by Barker Construction. ( House was condemned)
Lots C & D are existing gravel and asphalt parking lot.
The new addition will attach to north side of existing building and occur on
lot C. The existing drainage and elevations will remain the same.
The new addition is 1713 sq. ft .. Deduct from this total the sq. ft. of
dem.olished house-1300 sq. ft.-the net gain in impervious area is 413 sq. ft ..
Because that area is now gravel/ashalt base parking, the actual net gain in
impervious area is so small that no additional detainage or drainage work is
required and the existing grading can remain the same.
