We conducted a survey today, November 4, 1996 on Lot 58 of Dakota Ridge, phase 3 for the
purpose of certifying the drainage &cWties on or adjacent to this lot. The only finality associated
with this lot is a Swale along the gear (north) lot line. I have attached hero a copy of our survey
field notes showing an arbitrary bench mark of 100.00 at gwmp slab, a 101.23 at tear patio door,
and from 93.29 to 93.66 at fiowline of Swale.
The Swale is defined on both sides by timber planter boxes and as such, we calculated the capacity
of the Swale which is 13.3 feet wide, approximately 0.75 Aw deep and has side slopes that vary
from 3:1 to 9.5:1. I have attached a basin delineation map and channel capacity calculations for
your review. It is our opinion that the channel, which was desk with 4:1 side slopes is
sufficient in its current condition to carry the design flows. U Is also our findings that the
structure is built at sufficient elevation to be above the 100 year storm flow by more than 5 feet.
