Dear Dale,
We visited the above referenced site on March 12, 2020, to look at the grading for the
addition of the detached garage at the back of the above mentioned property. The existing
grading overall is relatively flat and will not be addressed. The addition of a detached garage
will have the downspouts directed to the alley via 4" non perforated pipe from the back of the
garage and the front of the garage by the alley will have the downspouts directed toward the
alley. The alley has adequate drainage to direct the water away from the garage and to the street
to the east as seen on the site plan. The approximate slope of the alley from the west side of the
lot to the alley where it intersects Roosevelt Avenue is 1.9%. No additional water will be
introduced to the neighboring lots.
