Dear Mr. Barber.
On behalf of CLC Associates, Inc (CLC), I have visited the site and reviewed 'As -Constructed'
drawings prepared by CLC. Attached to this letter you should find:
1. Drainage Certification Form (Checklist),
2. Detention Pond As -Constructed Volume Calculations, and
3. Selected Construction Drawings with As -Constructed Information.
The information requested on the Drainage Certification Form, provided by the City, appears to be
shown on the attached documents. I believe the as -constructed field conditions appear to be in
general conformance with the construction drawings prepared by CLC and reviewed and
approved by the City of Fort Collins except as noted thereon.
The following items appear on the plans but are due special consideration. 1) Storm pipes from
inlets CB#1 and CB#2 appear to slope contrary to the desired direction of flow which may have
resulted from minimum cover considerations during design or construction. The limited area
tributary to these inlets should be considered in your review. 2) Inlet A-1 was constructed as a
single instead of a double Type 13 inlet. Adequate relief around the building may offset the
additional ponding that might result. and 3) The connection to inlet G-3 at the southwest corner of
Lincoln and Lemay should be allowed on a limited, interim basis only. The connection to the
storm system to the east should be discontinued at the earliest convenience.
