Re: Bachus & Shanker Law Office – Tree Mitigation & Feasibility Letter
This letter is intended to supplement the Tree Mitigation Plan prepared for the Bachus &
Shanker Law Office PDP submittal. The Tree Mitigation Plan identifies 14 existing trees that are
all located off-site but are in close enough proximity to the subject property that we felt it was
necessary to document them in the Tree Mitigation Matrix in the event they were damaged
during construction. No off-site trees are proposed to be removed in order to allow for the
construction of the proposed development. The Bachus & Shanker Tree Mitigation Plan was
completed under the direction of the City Forester and accurately identifies all on-site tree
including their approximate locations, species, trees protection or removal status, size,
condition and mitigation value.
As depicted in the Tree Mitigation Plan there were a total of 14 trees existing off-site all of
which will be protected in place and mitigated only if damaged during construction.
A more detailed description of each tree being protected in place can be found in the Tree
Mitigation Plan included with this submittal. For those trees identified on the plan and which
have been deemed by the City Forester as providing significant community value, replacement
mitigation tree quantities have been determined in the event that replacement is needed.
