The proposed development removes the existing building, and proposes a new hotel along College Ave. meeting LUC requirements and achieves greater visibility from Prospect Road and College Ave. The existing trees range from fair to poor/dead. As these trees were planted in smaller parking lot medians and surrounded by asphalt pavement, the environment is not ideal. The tree species include Green and White Ash, Honeylocust, Linden, and Pine. There are five (5) boundary trees. There will be 26 trees removed, 5 are currently dead, 2 are poor, and the rest vary from fair to fair minus. Tree #2, Green Ash,13", Fair - The tree is located at the proposed access into the site.
