On Tuesday, July 16, 1991, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., at the Fort Collins Christian
Center*, 4036 South Shields Street, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department
will hold a public information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your
neighborhood.
The proposed development project is known as Park South and consists of 34.3
acres at the southwest corner of Horsetooth Road and Manhattan Avenue. The
developers are requesting approval of two specific items:
First, the developers are requesting approval of an Overall Development Plan on
the entire 34.3 acres. The Overall Development Plan designates the proposed land
uses to be single family homes (24.3 acres), neighborhood convenience shopping
(7.3 acres), and duplex housing/office (3 acres).
Second, the developers are requesting preliminary approval, as a Planed Unit
Development, of 25 single family lots.
Both the Overall Development Plan and the Preliminary Planned Unit Development
will be processed as separate items but will be reviewed at the same time.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is
derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag
time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations,
a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify
your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity
to attend.
