Comment Summary:Department: Planning ServicesContact: Jason Holland, 9702246126, jholland@fcgov.comTopic: GeneralComment Number: 1 Comment Originated: 01/19/2021FOR APPROVAL:The bollard in the middle of the concrete sidewalk restricts the walkway widthand this does not work for pedestrian access. If this is the only location that can be agreed to then the sidewalk will need to be extended 4 feet on either side of the bollard and then can gradually transition back to the 4’ walk alignment on either side.RESPONSE:The walk has been widened to allow for 4’ clear on one side of the bollard which then transitions back to the 4’ walk alignment.Comment Number: 2 Comment Originated: 01/19/2021FOR INFORMATION:A typical automobile is 72 inches wide and a typical truck is 80 inches wide. The proposed bollard restricts the access to 85 inches. Planning staff suggests that the applicant and ditch owners consider an access control width that makes it clearer that an automobile cannot drive around the proposed access control.RESPONSE: No longer applicable per Jason Holland. Comment Number: 3 Comment Originated: 01/19/2021FOR APPROVAL:Please provide dimensions on the site plan indicating the proposed location of the 4’ sidewalk within the 12’ tract.RESPONSE: Provided. Comment Number: 4 Comment Originated: 01/19/2021FOR APPROVAL:Please provide a final construction detail indicating the general section design and specifications for the “soft surface trail”.RESPONSE: Provided. These fees will now be collected on allprojects. The Erosion Control fees are based on; the number of lots, the total sitedisturbance, the estimated number of years the project will be active and the Stormwater Inspection Fees are based off the number of LID/WQ Features that are designed for on this project. Based upon the materials submitted we are using 8 lots, 1.86 acres of disturbance, 1 year from demo through build out of construction and an additional 2 years till full vegetative stabilization due to seeding. Which roughly equates to an Erosion Control Fee of $ 1,359.22. Based on 2 bioretention we estimate the Stormwater LID/WQ Inspection fee to be $ 630. I have attached a copy of the spreadsheet that was used to arrive at thesenumbers for your information. The fee will need to be provided at the time of erosion control escrow. FOR FINAL APPROVAL:Please add a note stating that all permanent stormwater quality control measures will be constructed as part of the last phase of construction to minimize potential for sedimentation.RESPONSE: Note added to the erosion control plan.Department: Stormwater EngineeringContact: Matt Simpson, (970)4162754, masimpson@fcgov.comTopic: GeneralComment Number: 2 Comment Originated: 01/19/202101/19/2021: FOR APPROVAL:Please move the location of the proposed underdrain main to the inside of the detention pond or discuss with me if not possible.RESPONSE: We are unable to maintain adequate cover over the underdrain when located on the inside of the detention pond.
