Dear Al:
This letter is to inform you of the City's position concerning
the request for the vacation of the county road easement Corte La
Paz, located in Serramonte Highlands. The City is opposed to this
vacation request. This street could provide an auto circulation
connection to future developments which might be approved to the
west of Serremonte Highlands, providing the potential for
improved emergency and fire equipment response to both
properties, as well as the facilitation of vehicular circulation
in general. Vacation of this street without knowing what the
future development of the property to the west will be, would be
premature at this time.
