RE: Hazardous Materials Impact Analysis
To whom it may concern:
Other than typical housekeeping products stored in housekeeping closets in occupied areas, the
following is our expectation of elements that may be of concern.
Based on the project program we feel the following may be relevant.
A. Basement:
a. Lab – We are pursuing a list of intended materials at this time.
b. Mechanical Room - Supports the new buildings MEP equipment. n/a
c. Unfinished shell space - Not for storage. n/a
B. 1st floor:
a. Emergency Department.
i. MRI contains liquid helium.
ii. There will be a decontamination holding tank below grade outside the
building footprint.
C. (No second floor)
D. 3rd floor:
a. Orthopedic unit.
i. Oxygen tank cylinder storage (80 sf)
b. Unfinished shell space - Not for storage. n/a
