FEATURES
SHAFT— Weldable -grade ASTM 513 carbon steel tubing with
a minimum yield of 55,000 psi. Uniform wall thickness of
.121'. Shaft is one-piece construction with a full longitudi-
nal weld. The 4-1/2'round straighttube is uniform in cross-
section down the length of the shaft.
ANCHOR BASE — Fabricated from carbon steel plate (ASTM
A-36), 3/4' thickness. Base plate and shaft are
circumferentially welded at both the top and the bottom to
provide maximum strength at the area of critical stress.
HANDHOLE — Nominal 3x5' handhole is located 18' above
the base. Cover and attachment hardware provided.
GROUNDING — A nut holder located immediately inside the
handhole is provided with a 1/2'— 13 UNC ground bolt and

ANCHOR BOLTS — Top 12' is galvanized per ASTM A-153.
Made of carbon steel bar with a minimum yield strength of
55,000 psi.
HARDWARE — Fasteners are high -strength galvanized zinc -
plated or stainless steel.
TOP CAP — Plastic cap is standard for drill -mount poles.
FINISH — Dark bronze (DDB► polyester powder finish stan-
dard. Other architectural colors available.
BASE COVER —Automotive-grade ABS plastic full -cover fin-
ished to match pole.

HOUSING — Cylindrically-s'taped, rugged, heavy -gauge, spun alu-
minum housing with tort -less top access. Fully gasketed for
weather -tight integrity. >tandard finish is dark bronze (DOB)
polyester powder. Other architectural colors available.
LENS — 3/16'thick, clear, impact -resistant. tempered drop lens.
MOUNTING — Extruded aluminum Term with integral splice com-
pariment for wail or pole mounting Is shipped in fixture carton.
Optional mountings evei'able.
OPTICS — Segmented, anodized aluminum optics are inter-
changeable and rotatable. Vertically tamped sealed optics in-
clude ASY (asymmetric;, SYM (symmetric), SYMN (symmetric
narrow) and PFT (perimeter forward throw -asymmetric). De-
sign redirects light around arc -tube for optimum lamp life and
maximum efficiency. Three horizontally tamped cutoff distribu-
tions include Type II (rot dwayl, Type III (asymmetric) and Type
IV (forward throw).
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM — Constant -wattage autotransformer bal-
last. Ballast is copper w3und and 100% factory tested. Remov-
able power tray and positive locking disconnect plug.
SOCKET —Mogul -base porcelain socketwith copper alloy, nickel -
plated screw shell and tenter contact UL listed 1500W-600V,

Dear Frank,
This letter is in response to the City of Fort Collins Community Planning and
Environmental Services review letter for the above referenced project.
Item 13 questions how the lighting foot-candle levels were brought into compliance
of the = Section 3.2.4 maximum 10 foot-candle level. The following changes
were made to the original lighting plan:
1. The number of pole light fixtures was reduced from a total of 9 fixtures to
5 fixtures.
2. The light poles were increased in height from 20 feet to 24 feet.
