Yarber Dear Ms. Moore, (Engineering Department) In the above reference letter dated May 8, 2001, we were advised to contact both you, Eric Bracke and Mr. Matt Baker in the Engineering Department concerning issues regarding our proposed Bed & Breakfast. Please refer to this letter. If you did not receive a copy I will be happy to provide you with a copy. I am e-mailing all of you this letter. We are currently in the planning stages of converting our residence to a five bedroom B&B. We are anticipating an October opening date and it is our understanding that this process could take two months. Your expedient reply would be appreciated. This property was a restaurant for twenty-five (25) years before it was converted back into a residence in December of 1998. a. Mr. Baker, are there street owrsizing fees applicable? If so what will they be and why are they applicable? b. Mr. Bracke, is a Transportation Impart Study needed? if so why? c. Existing damage to curb, gutter and sidewalk was repaired in July, 1999. d. What is the process for improving the alley? Can we pave from the existing concrete to our property line? Do we have to have the plan approved before proceeding? e. No curb cuts will be made. f. What is the Development Construction Permit and Utility Plans? Are they required for our project? g. Is an additional right-of-way and dedication of utility easements necessary? If so, what are they?
