RE: Request for Variances — PFA Fire Station #14
Dear Patricia,
This letter is in response to the variance requests, dated May 24, 2002.
The variance request to the 36' maximum driveway width has been granted. The
proposed 40' width is approved as designed.
The variance request to the minimum distance requirement between a driveway and a
street intersection of 150' has been approved. The proposed distance of approximately
140' is approved as designed.
The variance request for the 20' curb return at the main entry onto Westchase Road has
been approved. The 20' curb returns are approved as designed.
The variance request for the minimum parking setback requirement of 40' has been
approved. The proposed setback of 29' is approved as designed.
This variance request does not set a precedence or change the application of our design
standards in other situations. If you have any questions, please contact Susan Joy at
