The analysis utilized 2040 peak hour traffic volumes developed by Delich Associates, a default truck percentage of 3% for all movements except the through movements along the Frontage Road which utilized a truck percentage of 10%, and a default Peak Hour Factor of 0.92. The forecasted 2040 peak hour volumes used in the analysis are shown below in Figure 1. Figure 1: Forecasted 2040 Peak Hour Volumes Roundabout Operational Analysis The proposed single-lane roundabout was analyzed using SIDRA software in HCM Mode with utilizes the HCM 6th Edition roundabout equations. The 2040 operational analysis results for the proposed roundabout are summarized below in Table 2. Table 2: 2040 Peak Hour Traffic Operations for Gateway at Prospect Roundabout Conclusions All movements are expected to operate at LOS ‘B’ or better during both peak hours in the 2040 design year.
