CO 80522.0580 970.416.2740 970.224.6134- fax fcgov.com August 6, 2014 Mr. Dennis Messner 1355 N Cleveland Avenue, Suite #1 Loveland, Colorado 80537 RE: 60 day Extension to Whitman Storage Facility II PDP — 130031 Dear Dennis: Staff has reviewed your request for a second extension to the Whitman Storage Facility II PDP project, as permitted in Section 2.2.11 of the Land Use Code, to resubmit a revised Project Development Plan. Staff provided written comments regarding review of the development proposal on October 8, 2013. The first 120 day extension was granted on April 8, 2014 and expires on August 7, 2014. Based on your request, staff has approved the extension request in accordance with Section 2.2.11 of the Land Use Code. The 60 day extension will be granted until October 5, 2014. Please note that the project is not eligible for an additional extension; if a revised submittal is not provided no later than October 5, 2014, the project will expire. In order to properly respond to the City of Fort Collins staff review comments, it is necessary to come to a final resolution as to the location and extent of the wetlands mitigation that has been required by the staff The work is progressing under the direction of Steve Long of Cedar Creek Associates. The final plan for the wetland mitigation work is to be completed by September 8. I sincerely appreciate your consideration of this request.
