HomeMy WebLinkAboutPZ91-8 ALTAIR RESOURCES SUBDIVISION NAME CHANGE RESOLUTION - 60 89A - CORRESPONDENCE - APPLICANT COMMUNICATION• 6 December 4, 1990 Mr. Ted Shepard Project Planner Fort Collins Planning P.O. Box 580 Department Fort Collins, CO. 80522 Dear Mr. Shepard: This letter is to formally request that the City Planning Department begin procedures to change the name of the officially approved subdivision plat that currently describes my property at 921 East Prospect Road. At present, the name of the plat is called "Altair Resources Subdivision". I would like to change this name to "Keulen Subdivision". This subdivision consists of one lot. My wife and I are the sole owners. There are no lien holders. There is no mortgage. The reason for the change is that "Altair Resources" was a name chosen by another party that was interested in leasing space in our accessory building. This party was required by the City to obtain a P.U.D. approval for their proposed use of retail sales. Part of the requirements included filing a subdivision plat. This other party never signed a lease to rent the space but the plat and P.U.D. were approved by the Planning and Zoning Board on January 22, 1990. Quite simply, the name "Altair Resources" is unacceptable to us. We have lived on the property for over twenty years and would like the plat to reflect our name, and have some logical connection to our ownership. Thank you for your attention in this matter and we look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, ?Johnn Ann Keulen _--
