The subdivision consists of one lot and is located at 921 East Prospect Road. The zoning is R-P, Planned Residential. RECOMMENDATION: Approval EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Altair Resources P.U.D. and subdivision were approved by the Planning and zoning Board on January 22, 1990. The name "Altair Resources" was selected by an outside party that was pursuing a lease in the accessory building on the property. This outside party never signed the lease leaving the owners, John and Ann Keulen, with a name that bears no logical connection to the property. Mr. and Mrs. Keulen have lived on the property for over 25 years. The subdivision consists of one lot. There are no lien holders. There is no mortgage. The owners would like to change the name to reflect their long term association with the property. Staff has circulated the request among the pertinent city agencies and outside utility providers. CO 80522-0580 (303) 221-6750 PLANNING DEPARTMENT Resolution PZ91-8 Altair Resources Subdivision Name Change P & Z Meeting April 1, 1991 Page 2 RECOMMENDATION: Staff finds the request to change the name of "Altair Resources Subdivision" to I'Reulen Subdivision" is acceptable and recommends approval of the Planning and Zoning Board Resolution PZ91-8. i 9 RESOLUTION PZ91-8 OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD OF • THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE NAME CHANGE OF "ALTAIR RESOURCES SUBDIVISION" TO "KEULEN SUBDIVISION" WHEREAS, the petitioners, John and Ann Keulen, are the owners of certain property legally described on a subdivision plat recorded at Reception No. 90005737 of the Larimer County, Colorado, Records and identified by its title as "Altair Resources Subdivision"; and WHEREAS, the petitioners have made application to the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board to change the name of said subdivision plat to "Keulen Subdivision"; and WHEREAS, the request to change the name of said subdivision has been processed by the City of Fort Collins Planning Department, reviewed by the affected City agencies and outside utility providers and found acceptable; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has determined that it is in the best interest of the City that the name change requested be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the name of "Altair Resources Subdivision," as shown on the recorded plat thereof, • recorded at Reception No. 90005737 of the Larimer County, Colorado, Records, be changed to "Keulen Subdivision" and that this name change shall become effective upon recordation of this Resolution with the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder. Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins held this 1st day of April, A.D. 1991. Greenwalt FROM: Ted Shepard, Project Planneri� DATE: April 9, 1991 RE: Change of subdivision name from "Altair Resources" to "Keulen" On April 1, 1991, the Planning and Zoning Board passed a resolution authorizing the name change of an approved subdivision plat. The subject subdivision is a one -lot, residential property located at 921 East Prospect Road. The old name was "Altair Resources Subdivision". The new name is now changed to "Keulen subdivisionle. It is very important to change your records accordingly. Please make a note of this change on your plat maps, or computer files.
