Re: Utilities `'ervice Center, ODP
To Whon it may.concern:
Due to concern "near death today of a dear friend",
I will be unable to attend the public hearing regard-
ing the proposed congtruction project referenced above.
As a resident of 321 I4o. tNhit comb,, I share my neighbor's
thots that the expanded parking lot facility will intro-
duce unwanted traffic onto our street. dith Holy Family
Church on this, block, to our many parishioners -it's a
symbol of respect. This block already has sufficient
traffic flow: On Sunday, to pick up children attending
religious education, families attending Mass services:
Also on weekdays, persons attending voll'7 ball or
basketball grimes. And also funerals.
Increased traffic on residential streets degrades neigh-
borhoods. allowing vehicles to enter and emit this new
parking lot off Elm will certainly have a negative impact
on the relative tranquility we now enjoy. Neighborhood
at large will likely experience increased traffic flows
with "open from Elm' facility to new parking lot.
Can't entrance off i•7ood remain as it is, or Zoning
Board delay- a decision -engineering proposals be review-
ed'
Your consideration will be appreciated.
Sincerely, C LQ 1
