RE: Westbrooke P.U.D. Second Filing
Dear Mr. Smith:
We are submitting these construction plans and drain.
Westbrooke P.U.D. Second Filing foryour review and approval.
report for the
The concepts we have used to design this project are similar to those used in the
design of the 70 lots in the First Filing immediately to the south of this property as
follows:
1. The majority of all historical flows are diverted away from the Pleasant Valley
and Lake Canal via storm sewer.
2. One overflow swale is proposed to drain into the canal. This.swale will be
utilized only if the proposed storm sewer (designed for a 100 year event) becomes
plugged.
3. Inlets at the end of Troutman Parkway will collect. street flows before they
enter the canal.
4. Only flows from grassed backyards adjacent to the canal are allowed to
discharge into the canal. These flows are estimated to be leis than 2 oft in the
100 year event.
Please review this information and contact me at 207-1970 if you have additional
questions or concerns.
