Re: P&Z - Thursday, April 5th Steve, We have talked about this issue before during the development review process. I also requested these ped connections from the cul-de-sacs to the street, and was informed that they were not possible due to the prior agreements made by the City & PSD, as well as the previous Planning & Zoning Board decision I do not think it now should become Transportation Planning's role in defending the lack of these connections to the current P&Z board. I had the understanding from prior staff development review team discussions that the history on this project precluded these connections and this was going to be presented by Current Planning to P&Z. I would like the opportunity to contact any of the P&Z members who raised this concern at the worksession directly prior to the meeting to discuss this issue with them and hope that it does not become a topic for the meeting that night. I also think that the exact history on this project should be presented by Current Planning since it happened long before I was ever involved with the development review process and I cannot provide this information to the Board. Please let me know if there are other options for handling this. Thanks. KR >>> Eric Bracke 04/03 10:33 AM >>> Ward and I are in Vail this week and will not be back in time for the P&Z meeting Eric <<< Steve Olt 4/ 3 10:21 a >>> With regards to the Westbrooke PUD, 2nd Filing - Final, the Planning and Zoning Board is going to pull this item Thursday night, April 5th, to briefly discuss the pedestrian connections from the development to the 2 schools to the west, across Seneca Street. The plan calls for enhanced pedestrian connections across Seneca at the intersections with Regency and Troutman Parkway only. The _Board is questioning why there are no internal pedestrian walkways from the proposed cul-de-sacs to Seneca Street. They would like to have representatives from Traffic Operations and Transportation Planning at the meeting to help them with their questions. Steve
