RE: Rogers Park

In response to your memo of June 25, 1990 and the conditions for approval of the
plat, I have the following comments:
1. Doug Martine at Light and Power indicated an easement is not necessary for
the underground electrical.
2. I had several conversations with the neighbors to the north of the Park,
Steve and Kerry Huber, who were concerned about the alignment of the entry
road with their living room window. I offered two solutions. We could
redesign the entry and shift it 20' to the east, or we would have two trees
or shrubs planted in their front yard to help mitigate the impact. Their
response was to request we move the drive 50' to the east or 20' to the
west. Neither is an acceptable solution. Moving the drive 50' east has
a major impact on the availability of usable open space for general park
activities: ie., frisbee, catch, touch football etc. Moving the drive
to the west places it where it was initially which has a greater impact
on Mr. Jessen who lives on the west side of the Park. In a phone
conversation with Steve Huber, he indicated if we would not do one of his
two suggestions, they preferred to keep it as is.
I assume you have received the revised plat from Resource Consultants. If there
are any other questions, please call me.
