State intent of submitting an Existing Tree Removal Feasibility Letter. Include brief description
of existing trees on -site and the number of trees that are proposed to be impacted.
Tree #9, Pinyon, multi -stem, Fair -
This tree is currently located within an overhang potion of the building. The tree is poorly
shaped and in poor health and is therefore being requested to be removed.
Tree #10, Honeylocust, 9", Fair -
Handi-cap parking needs to be located on this side of the building as the existing spaces around
the site do not meet current code. This tree is located within a raised planter bed that needs to
be removed in order to provide the required sidewalks for the ADA spaces.
Tree #12, Junipers, (5) 4"-10", Fair
The current sidewalk and retaining wall on this side of the building do not allow for required
ADA sidewalk clearance widths, especially with large volumes of people. Existing parking and
retaining wall shall be removed in order to accommodate the needed walkway.
Tree #13, Hackberry, 3", Fair
The current sidewalk and retaining wall on this side of the building do not allow for required
ADA sidewalk clearance widths, especially with large volumes of people. Existing parking and
retaining wall shall be removed in order to accommodate the needed walkway.
Tree #14, Ash, 12", Fair
This area is currently a loading dock that will be regraded for a pedestrian plaza. This tree will
be impacted by those grades and due to Emerald Ash Borer will be removed.
Tree #15, Ash, 6", Fair
This area will be regraded for a pedestrian entry plaza. This tree will be impacted by those
grades and due to Emerald Ash Borer will be removed.
Tree #17, Cottonwood, 17", Poor
Tree is very unhealthy and brittle, dropping many branches. A poorly suited tree for vehicles to
park beneath.
Tree #18, Cottonwood, 20", Fair -
Cottonwood is not a suitable tree for parking lots, due to adjacent tree being removed it is
requested to remove this tree at the same time and replace trees in island that better fit a
parking area.
