Request for PUD review for 12 child Hone Childcare use at above address.
This hone has currently been operating as a childcare for 6 children.
1. PUD submittal planned for 2 July 1990.
2. Fenced outdoor play area is 2917 SF. There is a Five foot chain link
fence with privacy slats already installed. There is a natural noise buffer
with Meadhowlark Avenue to the East and the 65 foot canal area wooded, on the
West. Variances to the city request of 6 foot fence is requested. The present
fence is compatible to the neighborhood and does have privacy slats along with
providing safe enviornment for the children. Planned plantings of shrubs and
bushes.to be installed on the South and North Fencelines will further buffer
sound and visual impact.
3. The indoor area for child care is 1069 SF.
4. Fire extinguishers are presently in place. I have two smoke detectors but
will replace then with Hard -wired ones that are inter -connected as required
by Poudre Fire Authority. A fire department inspection was completed 5/29/90
but I will request an additional inspection upon completion of the wired -in
detectors. Concerning the smoke barrier I will continue to work with Sheryl
Helms in requesting a variance as the present layout of the house will not
accomodate a 3 foot landing for a fire door between first and second floors.
The present door at end of hall will be removed to allow free movement and
access to the two doors existing to the street level. A smoke detector will
be installed at top and bottom of stairs.
5. There are presently two exists from first floor but their will be an
additional walk -out door installed where a garage door is now to allow street
level access for the handicaped.
6. See item 4. I will continue to work with the building inspection dept. to
assure full compliance with code.

10. One parking space is provided in the garage for owner/operator.
Four additional parking spaces are available in the double driveway.
I will notify all parent clients that drop-off and pick-up must be
done from the driveway.
11. A neighborhood meeting was held Tuesday June 26th with one neighbor
attending.
