RE: Overland Hills First and Second Filings
Dear Dave and Phil:
The purpose of this letter is to document' our meeting of January 29, 1991
during which we clarified the additional work required to complete the
HEC-2 analysis for the Overland Hills project.,
Please provide the following:
1. Run a floodway analysis using the same input data as was used for the
floodplain analysis included in Appendix C of your .January 18, 1991
report. Include the revised runs in the report. It was agreed that you
will use the floodway limits established in Appendix B of the January 18,
1991 report and shown on Figure 2 as "Hypothetical Future Conditions 100
year Floodway".
2. Eliminate the HEC-2 runs included in Appendix B of the January 18,
1991 report.
3. Modify Table 2, Spring Creek Floodway Data for 100-Year Full Develop-
ment Discharges. Include the existing channel conditions only. This
data will be used as the base flood condition. The future channel condi-
tions information will be eliminated.
4. Modify Table 3, Spring Creek Floodplain Elevations for 100-Year Full
Development Discharges. The columns shall be retitled as follows:
"Existing" to "Existing Base Flood Elevation"
"w/Overland Tr." to "w/Overland Tr. and Channelization, Floodplain"
Add two additional columns to the table, titled:
"w/Overland Tr. and Channelization, Floodway"
"Change" (between floodway elevation and base flood elevation)
5. Modify the text of the report as necessary to reflect the changes.
6. Figure 2 should not require any additional changes since the future
conditions floodway is already shown.

Your estimate to do this work is $400.00. The Stormwater Utility agrees to
reimburse you for this additional work at a not to exceed cost of $400.00.
Please consider this letter your Notice to Proceed. If you have a differ-
ent interpretation of our meeting please let me know as soon as you receive
this letter. If I do not hear from you I will assume that you agree with
the requirements stated herein.
I will be away from the office from February 14 through February 25, 1991.
If possible, please submit the revised report by February 11, 1991 so that
I can review it prior to my departure. If this is not possible, please let
me know so that we can agree on another submittal date. You can contact me
