Re: 211 Filing of the Overland Hills Subdivision
Dear Mr. Blehm:
At this time, the nearest sanitary sewer main which the above referenced subdivision can
obtain service from is approximately 3/4-mile north of Horsetooth Road. The extension of
that main is the responsibility of any developer interested in obtaining sewer service. In this
instance, since the nearest main is so far from Overland Hills 21 Filing, and the subdivision
has only 4 lots, the developer did not want to build an off -site sewer main.
We do not require all development within the City to be connected to City sewer mains. It is
okay to have septic systems, as long as the developer can satisfy all County requirements.
